StorageRaya is CloudRaya’s object storage service designed to be compatible with the S3 API, object storage service by AWS (Amazone Web Service). It allows you to store large amounts of data in a flexible and scalable way without having to manage your own hardware.

As an object storage service, StorageRaya stores data as objects. Your files are stored in buckets, and each object contains metadata such as file name, creation date, and other attributes. This metadata helps you to organize, manage, and retrieve your stored data.

You can access your data through S3-compatible APIs, making it easy to integrate with applications and tools that support the S3 standard.

One of the main advantages of StorageRaya is its flexible capacity. You can store as much data as needed without having to manually upgrade storage infrastructure.

Object Storage and VM are different services. The Data Transfer of 1TB for Object Storage is calculated for outbound (download) activities from your end. If you perform inbound (upload) activities to store data in Object Storage, there is no additional cost. In Object Storage, you don't need to worry about the computing service (CPU & RAM) you need to run the storage. You focus only on the total GB/TB of files you store. CloudRaya, on the other hand, charges for both inbound and outbound data transfer and computing services.

We ensure that your data is always securely stored with high availability because StorageRaya is built within a clustered infrastructure with redundancy. Your data is replicated across all StorageRaya servers, ensuring it can always be accessed even in the event of an issue with one of the servers.

Yes, you can upload your files to StorageRaya using certain Android applications that integrate with and perform activities related to Object Storage (upload, download, sync). As of now, CloudRaya does not offer that feature.
